These Terms and Conditions form a legally binding agreement between you and Misty Field Route when you use this website or participate in any excursion we offer. Please read them carefully. If anything is unclear, we're happy to answer questions via our contact page.

1. User obligations

1.1 By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you are accessing it under the supervision of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms on your behalf.
1.2 You agree not to use this website or our services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
1.3 You agree not to misrepresent your identity, fitness level, or group composition when making a booking enquiry, as this may affect the safety and suitability of the excursion.
1.4 During excursions, all participants are expected to follow the guide's instructions for safety and to respect the natural environment, local customs, and other members of the group.
1.5 Prohibited conduct during excursions includes: removal of plants or animals from the natural environment, leaving litter, straying from the agreed route without guide approval, and conduct that endangers others.

2. Participant responsibilities

2.1 Participants are responsible for ensuring they are in a suitable physical condition for the excursion they have booked. If you have a medical condition that may be relevant, please inform us in advance.
2.2 Participants agree to indemnify Misty Field Route against any claims, losses, or damages arising from their failure to comply with these conditions, the guide's instructions, or applicable laws during the excursion.
2.3 Personal belongings brought on excursions are the sole responsibility of the participant. Misty Field Route accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal items.
2.4 Participants who share images or content from excursions on public platforms do so at their own discretion and take responsibility for any third-party privacy considerations.

3. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

3.1 Misty Field Route provides services with reasonable care and skill, but outdoor excursions involve inherent risks. We disclaim responsibility for injury, illness, or damage arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather, terrain conditions, or the actions of third parties.
3.2 This website and its content are provided "as is". We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of all information at all times.
3.3 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Misty Field Route's total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid (if any) for the relevant excursion.
3.4 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or losses arising from travel and accommodation arrangements you make in connection with an excursion.
3.5 Force majeure: Misty Field Route is not in breach of these conditions if any obligation is prevented, delayed, or disrupted by events outside our reasonable control — including natural disasters, government restrictions, or severe weather.

4. Governing law and disputes

4.1 These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.
4.2 We encourage you to contact us directly in the first instance to resolve any concern. Most issues can be addressed informally and quickly.
4.3 Severability: If any clause in these conditions is found to be unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue in full effect.
4.4 Misty Field Route may amend these terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
