Misty Field Route
Open countryside path winding through green fields in Japan

Three routes, three kinds of day

Find the excursion that fits where you are right now

Whether you're after a gentle morning walk, a few hours in the saddle, or a full day that puts you in contact with the land and the people who care for it — one of these routes will suit.

Before you choose

A note on how the routes differ

Each of our three excursions has its own character. They're not simply the same experience at different price points or durations. The half-day walk is quiet and observational. The horseback route changes your perspective on the landscape by changing your position within it. The eco-tourism day is immersive in a different way — it brings you into contact with the people and practices that sustain the land.

If you're unsure which fits best, the contact form at the bottom of the main page is a good place to ask. We'll give you an honest answer.

  • Clothing appropriate for the season
  • Water bottle (refillable on the route)

Availability

Excursions run across all four seasons. Routes are adjusted seasonally — a spring walk and an autumn walk through the same area will feel genuinely different.

Some dates fill earlier than others. If you have specific dates in mind, it's worth writing to us to check before making travel plans around the excursion.

Booking and cancellation

Booking is done by contacting us directly. We'll confirm your date, share any relevant details, and answer questions before you commit to anything.

Our cancellation terms are fair and clearly stated when you book. We understand that travel plans can change, and we handle those situations with the same consideration we apply to everything else.
